The topic and the aim of this language project are from the environmental area. We should deal with the situation and conditions of forests in Czechia and Norway. Because both partner schools are agriculture schools, the environmental matter is very close to the students and our woods and forests play very important role in it. This project should enlarge students´ knowledge and awaken their interest in fauna and flora of our forests. They should share their experience with the other students. Although environment is not a direct subject of compulsory school curriculum, it is very close to the others that students need in a course of their agriculture study. During the project work students should not just to monitor the situation of our forests and their flora and fauna but also to improve their general knowledge about all kind of woods including rain forests, their protection, come to the conclusion how to help in the forests conservation. They will investigate the environment situation on forest biotope; they will also try straight fieldwork. Finally the students make the conclusions from the whole project work (how to improve the ecological situation, how to protect the environment mainly the forests, what can we learn from our partners, etc.).
As the results of students´ work there should be the herbarium of plants and album of animals that we can meet and find in our or partners´ woods. The commentary to the plants and animals photos will be translated from both languages into English, so everybody could understand the remarks. The project results will also be made into the electronic form and record on CD. The exchange visits would be a possibility to work together on it as well as to do fieldwork. It is a great occasion to practise English and simultaneously learn some words of the other language. Simple thematic dictionary of useful words in Norwegian and Czech through English will be done. Because it is a linguistic project, students will have a great opportunity to work and study for a short time in a different European country. Learning a foreign language helps people to understand to each other, know different culture, lifestyle, customs etc.
Norwegian and Czech languages belong to a completely different group of languages and their learning will be very interesting experience. Students should learn them on the elementary level. Collective work is also the best way how to know each other, how to respect and help the other people. All project results should also be transformed into electronic forms.
There are also planned some visits of companies, museums and exhibitions, natural attractions connected to the topic and as a part of the project.
